Dramatis Personae

Simon Elvery recently released a block for XKCD-style narrative charts in D3. A few hours later, someone said, “Wonder what Game of Thrones will look like!”

I can’t answer that right now – I’m new to D3 – but maybe you can! Here’s the data you’ll need:

• A csv containing every chapter and all the characters that speak in it
• A list of each character by their ID, and the amount of characters they speak. That’s characters as in “A tweet contains 140 characters”

I got this data by tagging each line of dialogue in the series, and if you’d like to learn more about that, check the landing page for this study.
